We explained in short in the email you received and video you saw. Having your own control panel will greatly improve your VPS experience and we urge everyone to consider that.

Yes, you will still have root access to your container and the freedom to do what you want

You might get a new IP-address but it will be one dedicated for just you

Yes, Solus will let you reinstall the VPS with any linux distribution we have. You can find a list of all available templates here.

Yes, all our servers are already on Gbit and we are also taking over fastsh.it servers so the chances are you will actually stay on one of the fastsh.it servers.

[edit] How do I pay
You can pay by logging into the Bytesized website and going to the finance tab. From here you can fill in the amount you want to pay and start the paypal payment procedure. If you wish you can also prepay a certain amount so that your next month will be paid automatically.
[edit] How long do I have to pay
We generated invoices 7 days before the due date. Once you hit the renew date your account will stay disabled for two days till you pay. On the third day your account will be deleted.
